John the frog is one of many of his kind. All look mostly alike but he has the gaze.
Frog John was a kind soul throughout his life. Always quick to help his fellow frogs, giving them tips on how to catch flies effectively. His deeds were so great that it is said the the king of frogs became jealous.
the love that the frog populace had for John was so great it overshadowed the king's. And so, the king decided to send him off as part of the tributes to the giants...

His fate was sealed. The revenge taken, the king, content, didn't notice the stirring of the waters...
The people's love for John was so great they worshipped him as a god. Revered by many, for his miracles in the frog society. It was no secret that the king adored the love of the people.
it was by exploiting that need for love, which many thoughts originated from the prince's trials, that they were able to lead a happy fulfilling life. But when the death of John was announced,
it took very little to sacrifice it all. blinded by love for their messiah, they rose up. Quick to accept a new leader for quenching their desire for revenge...
Foolish, like their king, they would soon come to regret their decision. Because, as horrible as a crime the benevolent king committed. He craved their love and gave as much as he could for it.
But now a new king is on the throne, one who plots, one who betrays, with no bonds of loyalty.
